Dental Implants in Wichita Falls

A Replacement Tooth That Stands on Its Own

A missing tooth changes how you chew, speak and smile. Dr. Kinnari Ghia, General Dentist, places and restores dental implants here in our office, replacing teeth from the root up so the new tooth looks, feels and works like the rest of your smile.

How It Works

Three Parts, One Natural-Looking Tooth

Because an implant is anchored in bone, the new tooth doesn’t rely on the teeth beside it for support.

What an Implant Is

An implant has three parts. A small titanium post sits in the jawbone and takes the place of the root. A connector, called an abutment, attaches to the post. A custom crown, shaded to match your other teeth, goes on top.

Dr. Ghia handles every stage herself, from planning and placing the post to fitting the final crown, so you stay with one dentist you know from start to finish.

When Dr. Ghia May Suggest an Implant

Every mouth is different. At your consultation, Dr. Ghia explains which option fits your teeth, your bone and your plans.

One Missing Tooth

A single implant fills the gap without reshaping the healthy teeth on either side, as a bridge would.

Several Missing Teeth

Two implants can anchor a bridge that replaces three or more teeth in a row.

A Loose Denture

Implants can hold a denture in place, so it stays put while you eat and talk.

A Tooth That Can’t Be Saved

When a tooth has to come out, Dr. Ghia can plan its replacement from the start.

What to Expect, Step by Step

You’ll know the plan, the timeline and the cost before anything begins.

1

Consultation and Imaging

Dr. Ghia examines your teeth and gums and takes X-rays to check the bone. You leave with a written plan and a cost estimate.

2

Placement and Healing

Dr. Ghia places the post, and the bone bonds to it over the following months. A temporary tooth can fill the gap in the meantime.

3

Your New Crown

Once the post is secure, your custom crown is attached and checked for fit, bite and color.

FAQs

Dental Implant Questions

Have a question that isn’t here? Call us at (940) 692-8411 and our team will help.

Q: How long do implants last?

Implants are designed as a long-term replacement. Daily brushing, flossing and regular checkups help them stay healthy, just like natural teeth.

Q: Will I be comfortable?

Dr. Ghia numbs the area before placement and explains each step as she goes. If you feel anxious about dental visits, tell us; our office is designed around helping patients relax.

Q: How long does the whole process take?

Usually several months from placement to the final crown, and most of that is healing time. Dr. Ghia gives you a timeline at your consultation.

Q: Does insurance or the Wichita Falls Smile Club help?

Coverage varies by plan, and our team checks your benefits before treatment. Wichita Falls Smile Club members receive a member discount on implants; see the Smile Club page for details.
